Energy Efficient Lighting

LED lighting is the latest technology in energy efficient lighting. LED stands for ‘Light Emitting Diode’, a semiconductor device that converts electricity into light.

Suitable across a range of applications and significantly more energy efficient, LED light sources use approximately 85% less energy than halogen or incandescent lighting – meaning immediately visible reductions in power consumption. LED light sources also have a much longer lifespan than conventional sources, meaning significant reductions in maintenance demands and lower installation cost over the life-cycle of the project.

Average Lifespan

  • LED: 25000 - 50000 hours
  • CFL: 8000 - 15000 hours
  • Halogen: 1000 - 5000 hours
  • Incandescent: 1000 hours
